Residential HVAC Installation Technician — Generators & Gas Lines

Make Comfort Work: Residential HVAC Installation Technician — Generators & Gas Lines

Picture your day starting with a clear work order and the autonomy to run it end-to-end. You arrive on-site, walk the homeowner through the plan, and then get to work—safely installing a standby generator and its gas line, followed by precise placement and setup of HVAC equipment. You wrap up by documenting your work and leaving the space cleaner than you found it.

What you’ll do

  • Independently install residential and light commercial generators and related equipment, including gas lines.
  • Assemble and install heating and air-conditioning units used in homes.
  • Design and install complete HVAC systems—equipment, ductwork, and piping.
  • Keep accurate, up-to-date logs of all work performed.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and protect our reputation on every visit.
  • Tackle special projects and additional duties as assigned.

How you’ll succeed

  • Operate confidently without direct supervision while maintaining quality and safety.
  • Communicate clearly with customers about timelines, next steps, and system operation.
  • Stay organized so your documentation is complete and accurate.

Why this role

If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in clean, code-compliant installs, and like the satisfaction of closing out a job right the first time, this role gives you the ownership to do exactly that—every day.
