Job Summary

At Air Sharks Heating & Air Conditioning, summer is our busiest season—and we’re looking for a skilled and dependable Residential HVAC Service Technician to help us deliver fast, high-quality service when customers need it most.

In this role, you’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems while providing top-tier customer service on every call. You’ll work independently in the field, solve problems efficiently, and take pride in delivering reliable comfort solutions to homeowners across the Bay Area.

We’re looking for a technician who is detail-oriented, experienced in troubleshooting, and motivated to grow with a company that values teamwork, craftsmanship, and long-term career development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional, 5-star customer service on every call
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems
• Perform warranty repairs and preventative maintenance
• Clearly explain system issues and recommended solutions to customers
• Maintain accurate service records, including parts and labor
• Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers for parts and warranty claims
• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of residential HVAC service experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems, components, and diagnostics
• Knowledge of HVAC codes and safety regulations
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces (attics, crawlspaces)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with Lennox and Amana equipment
• Prior warranty service experience

Certifications

• EPA 608 Certification – Required
• NATE Certification – Preferred

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
