Job Purpose:
- The Residential Manager II at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER will oversee the daily operations of a residential facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services to residents. This role involves managing staff, maintaining compliance with regulations, and fostering a supportive environment for both residents and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support residential staff, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement programs and activities that promote the well-being and personal development of residents.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to maintain the facility's operations within financial constraints.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans for residents.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the facility, maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
- Conduct regular evaluations of staff performance and provide opportunities for professional development.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care and facility operations.
- Engage with residents and their families to ensure their needs are met and provide updates on progress and changes.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a residential management role within a behavioral health setting.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising and managing a team of staff members.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing residential programs for individuals with behavioral health needs.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with community partners and agencies.
- Proficient in crisis intervention and conflict resolution techniques.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in a residential setting.
- Ability to assess and address the needs of residents while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
