Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and repairing drywall, plastering, or masonry as needed
• Apply paint, stain, primer, and specialty coatings using brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, or other power tools to achieve smooth finishes
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and renovation plans to accurately execute projects
• Use hand tools such as putty knives, scrapers, trowels, and carpentry tools for trim carpentry, fixture installation, or framing tasks
• Perform construction site tasks including scaffolding setup, drywall finishing, stucco application, and masonry work when necessary
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure consistent color matching based on color theory principles and client specifications
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and properly handling equipment like welding tools or concrete finishing tools when applicable

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential painting with knowledge of commercial and industrial painting techniques
• Skilled in construction estimating and reading blueprints or schematics accurately
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and scaffolding setup
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Experience with renovation projects including plastering, restoration work, framing carpentry, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry, and concrete finishing
• Ability to read construction schematics and schematics related to fixture installation or industrial painting projects
• Strong handyman skills with experience in maintenance tasks such as fixture installation or general repairs on construction sites
• Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously
• Construction site experience is essential for understanding safety standards and workflow dynamics
