Now Hiring: Full Time Residential Plumbers.

You will play a key role in providing top-notch services to ensure that our customers’ homes are safe, and energy efficient. Join us in making homes across central NJ better, safer, and more comfortable for everyone.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of plumbing codes, a customer-first attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role requires the ability to read and understand policy manuals and safety rules, follow safety regulations, and complete paperwork efficiently. As a plumber with our company, you will maintain a clean, organized truck and up-to-date inventory, ensuring the highest level of service to our customers.

What you Will do:

• Service Calls & Installations: Perform residential plumbing services including repairs, installations, and maintenance for a variety of plumbing systems.
• Customer Communication: Effectively communicate with homeowners, consulting them on the best options for repairs and replacements, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Heating Systems: Work with various types of heating systems, including hydronic and steam heating systems, ensuring proper installation and maintenance.
• Team Collaboration: Maintain communication with dispatch, manager, installation, and parts teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Plumbing Codes & Safety: Adhere to all local plumbing codes, including IPC, and follow safety regulations to ensure safe and effective service.
• Truck & Inventory Management: Keep your company truck clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary tools and materials.
• Paperwork & Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork on time and accurately, ensuring records are up-to-date.
• Customer Property Protection: Ensure customer property is protected and handled with care during all installations and repairs.
• Stress Management: Handle plumbing issues and stressful situations professionally and with confidence.
• Continual Learning: Participate in weekly meetings, ongoing training sessions, and stay updated on plumbing technologies and best practices.

Requirements and Skills:

• Proven track record in residential plumbing with at least 3 years of experience.
• Clean, safe driving record and ability to safely operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of IPC plumbing codes, DWV systems, domestic plumbing systems, and the use of power tools and plumbing equipment.
• Soldering Skills: Proficient in soldering and other necessary plumbing techniques.
• Math Skills: Strong math skills for calculating measurements, pipe sizes, and other essential aspects of plumbing work.
• Decision-Making: Ability to make sound on-the-job decisions and resolve plumbing issues effectively.
• Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners.
• Time Management: Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize and complete jobs in a timely manner.
