Residential Senior Living Housekeeper

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of 16 resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and hallways to uphold health and safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness of furniture, fixtures, floors, windows, and appliances using appropriate cleaning techniques and supplies
• Follow established janitorial procedures to ensure all areas meet regulatory and community standards for hygiene and safety
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management to maintain a secure environment
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines during all cleaning activities
• Support special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or required by the community

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, janitorial work or custodial roles with a strong attention to detail
• Prior housekeeping experience required; experience in a healthcare, assisted living, or similar facility strongly preferred.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation to Allen, TX required.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to work comfortably and respectfully around elderly residents.

Hours & Flexibility:

• 15–30 hours per week.
• Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
• Flexible scheduling available — example schedules include Tuesday/Thursday or Monday/Thursday. Days must be non-consecutive. Shifts available Monday–Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
