Here are Your Responsibilities as a Residential Electrician at Mr. Electric

As a Residential Service Electrician, you are a key member of our team. Our customers look to your expertise to help solve their issues and build confidence that their home will be safe.


Here are the primary responsibilities for this position:

  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues – From basic fixture installations to complex panel replacements, your electrical expertise will shine.
  • Sales responsibility – As the face of Mr. Electric, you'll have the opportunity to recommend solutions and upgrades to homeowners that ensure safety, efficiency, and long-term satisfaction. You’ll present opportunities to sell new services, such as electrical panel upgrades, whole-house rewiring, or energy-saving solutions.
  • Customer service excellence – Your ability to communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners is key to delivering the world-class customer service Mr. Electric is known for.
  • Safety first – You’ll ensure that all work is completed safely and in compliance with regulations, leaving homes safer than when you arrived.

Job Requirements


The following are the minimum requirements for the Residential Service Electrician position:

  • 3+ years of professional-level electrical experience – You should have a strong background in troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to read and write English at a level required for successful job performance.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with homeowners and presenting solutions.
  • A commitment to delivering top-notch customer service and ensuring safety.


Pay and Benefits

At Mr. Electric, your compensation reflects both your technical expertise and your sales performance. You’ll earn between $70,000 to $125,000+ annually.
