Join a brand-new 19-bed adolescent residential treatment center providing care for girls aged 13–17 with dual-diagnosis behavioral health conditions including self-harm, depression, anxiety, and family conflict. This is a high-priority, immediate-start role offering professional growth and the opportunity to make a lasting impact from day one.
Deliver compassionate nursing care, health assessments, and medication administration.
Perform patient screenings and monitor for behavioral or physical changes.
Support crisis prevention and stabilization under facility safety protocols.
Document accurately in KIPU EMR and maintain compliance with policies.
Collaborate with Mental Health Technicians (MHTs), CNAs, and the multidisciplinary team.
Communicate clinical updates and concerns to the Executive Director.
Required:
Active, unencumbered Texas RN license
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of behavioral health, psychiatric, or residential treatment experience
Preferred:
ACLS certification
Experience with KIPU documentation system
Strong communication and crisis response skills
$45–$52/hour (based on experience)
Overtime pay at 1.5x after 40 hours
Weekly direct deposit
Immediate start (facility opening Monday)
Credentialing assistance provided
Contract, PRN, or Temp-to-Hire options available
RNs experienced in behavioral health, crisis stabilization, or adolescent care who thrive in structured, team-based environments and want to grow with a newly established program.
