Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Resource Management Executive with 3-6 years of experience in the IT industry.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing resource allocation, bench utilization, forecasting demand, and supporting delivery teams with optimal staffing solutions.

This role demands a proactive, analytical and people-oriented professional who can work in fast-paced environment and willing to work during EST hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor long-standing bench resources and collaborate with HR and L&D teams for redeployment, upskilling, or cross-training.
  • Ensure optimum utilization of bench resources by mapping them to open demands and contributing to bench reduction.
  • Collaborate with delivery/project managers to understand current and upcoming demands across geographies.
  • Conduct weekly profile mapping activities against open demands to ensure accurate and timely resource alignment.
  • Perform continuous follow-ups with account teams to drive closure on profile mapping and resource deployment.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across delivery, recruitment, and account management teams to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.
  • Identify and escalate potential allocation risks, skill mismatches, and SLA breaches to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with internal SLAs and standard operating procedures for resource allocation and tracking.
  • Maintain and update internal resource management tools and dashboards within defined timelines.
  • Generate and share weekly/monthly reports on resource movement, bench status, utilization metrics, and demand-supply gaps using Excel and Power BI.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Resource Management Professional to join our RMG team.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively engage with global stakeholders, especially US-based teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), MS PowerPoint, and basic Power BI or similar analytics tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and credibility across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience in strategic workforce planning and forecasting.
  • Exposure to RMG tools/platforms (e.g., SAP Fieldglass, ServiceNow, or internal resource tracking systems).
  • Strong understanding of IT skills, roles, and project lifecycle.
  • Ability to multitask and work under right deadlines
