Required Skills/Experience:

• 2 years PICU or CTPICU experience in a pediatric hospital
• Pediatric Critical Care, Extubation, Intubation Assist, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oral/nasal Suctioning, Pulmonary Hygiene, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy care/management, Albuterol, Atrovent, Flovent, Nitric Oxide (INo), Racemic epinephrine, Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach, MDI, Nebulizer (Cold, Hand held, T-piece, Trach collar), Bag and mask, ET Tube, HFNC, BiPAP, CPAP, High frequency oscillator, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BIPAP, Oscillating Ventilator, Pressure/Volume Ventilator, Interpretation of ABGs, Chest Physiotherapy, Pediatric hospital.
• Required: V60, HFOV 3100A/B, Nitric Oxide

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Prefers close to 2 year's experience.
• Ped cardiac ICU*.
• Preferred: Trilogy EV300, Optiflow, NAVA (on Servo-U), IPV, Subambient/Nitrogen, Hamilton G5

Shift & Scheduling:

• Call Required: Yes
• Can be placed on-call for overtime shifts
• Weekend Coverage: Every Other

Floating Requirements:

• General Floors, ED, NICU, PICU, Pulmonary
• Floating is a requirement for most positions and a point of emphasis for Nationwide, travelers must be prepared to float to different units depending on the assignment.
