What You’ll Do

Assess & Monitor

  • Evaluate respiratory status, vital signs, and oxygen levels

  • Monitor residents on oxygen therapy, ventilators, and other treatments

  • Communicate changes promptly to the care team

Deliver High-Quality Care

  • Administer respiratory treatments including nebulizers and inhaled medications

  • Manage oxygen therapy and perform airway suctioning

  • Assist with tracheostomy care and airway management

Manage Equipment

  • Operate and monitor ventilators and respiratory devices

  • Troubleshoot issues and ensure equipment safety and functionality

  • Maintain equipment according to infection control standards

Educate & Support

  • Teach residents and families about respiratory care and equipment

  • Support residents with chronic conditions such as COPD, asthma, pneumonia, and sleep apnea

  • Promote improved breathing through therapeutic techniques

Collaborate & Document

  • Work closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams

  • Participate in care planning and team meetings

  • Maintain accurate, compliant documentation

What You Bring

  • Degree in Respiratory Therapy (Associate’s or Bachelor’s)

  • Active Respiratory Therapist license

  • NBRC certification (CRT or RRT)

  • Current CPR/BLS certification

  • Strong clinical and critical thinking skills

  • Experience with ventilators preferred

  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach
