We’re currently seeking a motivated professional to join our growing team.
Position: Respiratory Therapist (CRTT or RRT)
Location: In-office
License Requirement: Must be licensed in New York State
Position Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing and supporting respiratory equipment, primarily CPAP and BiPAP units, with additional involvement in oxygen therapy and non-invasive ventilation devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educate patients and caregivers on the proper use of respiratory equipment and care procedures
- Implement physician-prescribed treatment plans and adjust care as directed
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide solutions to patients and caregivers
- Maintain accurate patient records, chart notes, and documentation in compliance with industry standards
- Develop a strong working knowledge of home respiratory equipment, Medicare regulations, and insurance guidelines
Qualifications:
- Registered or registry-eligible Respiratory Therapist (CRTT/RRT) or Registered Nurse
- Current New York State license required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and sound judgment
- Proficiency with computer systems and documentation practices
- Ability to work effectively one-on-one with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

- Tact, good judgment, verbal ability and a positive attitude are very important attributes when dealing with clients, families, physicians, nurses, and all referral sources.
- Highly efficient computer skills are needed in order to properly maintain chart notes, patient info, etc.
- Proficient verbal skills are essential as communicating with patients, families, physicians, nurses and other team members is frequent.
- A high degree of skill in human relations with the ability to deal constructively on a one-to-one basis with patients, families, physicians, nurses and other hospital personnel.
- Pay is based on experience.
Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
