Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Pay Rate: $50 to $54/hr
Contract: 15 weeks
Schedule: Day Shift, 6:30 AM 7:00 PM
Experience: Minimum 2 years required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a 15-week contract opportunity in Hilo, Hawaii. This role provides respiratory care across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations, including airway management, ventilator support, CPR assistance, and physician consultation support.

Responsibilities

Provide continuous airway management and respiratory care support
Manage and support ventilator and non-invasive ventilator therapy
Assist with CPR, physician consultation, and all aspects of respiratory care
Use equipment such as Pyxis, PB 980, PB 840, V60, and ParaPac transport ventilator
Document care through computerized charting and follow facility respiratory protocols

Requirements

Active Hawaii Respiratory Therapist license required by assignment start
RRT certification required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; NRP preferred
Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience required; no first assignments
Must be able to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients and arrive Thursday before start for Friday employee health appointment
