Respiratory Therapist | Skilled Nursing & Long-Term Care

Are you a Respiratory Therapist looking for a role where you can build real relationships with your patients and make a measurable difference every day?

At Ohman Family Living, we care for long-term residents and post-acute patients across our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in Geauga County. We're currently hiring RTs at multiple levels, including new graduates and students with an Ohio Limited Permit, and we move quickly from application to offer.

What We Offer

Full time, part time, and PRN openings are available. Here's what comes with joining the team:

  • Flexible scheduling with double-time pay opportunities
  • PTO that starts accruing on Day One
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance plus life, disability, critical illness, and accident coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Bonus programs and incentive pay
  • Modern respiratory equipment including ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, oxygen concentrators, and airway management devices
  • Fast hiring process — most candidates hear back within a week
  • New graduates and students with an Ohio Limited Permit are encouraged to apply and will receive full clinical support

What You'll Do

As an RT at Ohman Family Living, you'll assess and treat residents with cardiopulmonary and respiratory conditions, develop care plans in collaboration with physicians and nursing, manage ventilator-dependent patients, document clinical outcomes, and support pulmonary rehabilitation and respiratory wellness programs. You'll also educate residents and families on equipment and treatment, and support staff training on respiratory topics.

What We're Looking For

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy, or currently enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Current RRT credential, or valid Ohio Limited Permit (L1) in good standing
  • Active BLS certification
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • SNF, ICU, LTACH, pulmonary rehab, or vent care experience is a plus, not a requirement
  • New graduates and students with an Ohio Limited Permit are welcome to apply

If you're a Registered Respiratory Therapist, new graduate, or student RT with an Ohio Limited Permit looking for a stable, patient-centered role in Northeast Ohio, we'd love to hear from you.
