About the Role

As a Respiratory Therapist with Apria in Charlottesville, VA, you will support both adult and high-acuity pediatric patients, including those under the UVA contract. This hybrid role includes a balanced mix of office work and home visits, offering autonomy and meaningful clinical engagement. Equipment pickup is completed at the Charlottesville branch.

Key Highlights

• Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 50% office / 50% remote & home visits; equipment pickup at branch.

• Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; On-call one week/month.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday

• Standard hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible)

• On-call 1 week per month.

• Mix of office responsibilities and patient home visits

Salary Range

• $38.50 per hour.

What You’ll Do

• Perform home visits for patient assessments and support.

• Conduct equipment setups (CPAP, BiPAP, Vents, Oxygen).

• Provide on-call support one week/month (10–15%, mostly technical issues).

• Provide troubleshooting and equipment education.

• Support pediatric respiratory patients.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Respiratory Therapist with an active Virginia RT license.

• Open to all experience levels.

• Valid driver’s license.
