POSITION SUMMARY
The Respiratory Therapy Coordinator manages the daily operations of respiratory care services, ensuring high-quality patient care for individuals with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership, staff coordination, and administrative responsibilities.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS- Education/Licensure/Certification or credentials
Required:-
Completed a minimum one-year technician program at an accredited college for respiratory therapy.

Successfully completed the National Board for Respiratory Care certification exam and/or registry exams.
- Skill/Experience/Competency
-
Two years accumulated work experience in a similar job and/or hospital respiratory therapy department.

Effective customer service/interpersonal skills at all times.

Ability to handle a variety of duties which may be interrupted or changed by immediate circumstances.
Knowledge and the ability to utilize:-
The theory of respiratory therapy medicine

Human anatomy and physiology
-
The disease process of the body to carry out the values of respiratory therapy agents.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Works in a hospital environment. Coordinator role combines direct patient care with administrative tasks, including managing staff assignments, training and ensuring quality, safety and patient throughput.

Pushing/Pulling, Patient handling: Moving equipment/patients, often requiring force.

Continuous walking, constant kneeling, stooping, bending, twisting and occasional need to lift patients

High level of hand-eye coordination for setting up ventilators, handling small parts, and typing for documentation.

Moderate Lifting, occasionally lifting to 50 lbs. maximum with assistance, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 20-40 lbs.
Pay Range
CRT- $32.79 - $43.81, RRT- $38.13 - $51.25
