Position: Respiratory Therapist

Facility: Rehabilitation Center of Orlando

Location: Orlando, FL

Schedule: Full-Time | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Pay: $40/hour + $2/night differential

About the Role:

Rehabilitation Center of Orlando is seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our dedicated team. In this full-time day shift role, you’ll provide critical care to ventilator-dependent patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory therapy and ventilator management in accordance with AdaptHealth’s policies and procedures.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to guide treatment planning.
• Work closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and patient progress.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Valid, unrestricted Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Florida
• Graduate of an accredited two-year Respiratory Therapy program
• Current CRT or RRT certification
• Proven experience with ventilator care and respiratory treatments
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and prioritize patient safety and outcomes
