Respiratory Therapist (RT) - PRN Night Shift

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ respiratory conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatment and adjust care plans as needed.
• Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment such as ventilators and oxygen delivery systems.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to coordinate patient care activities.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory health and therapies.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Assist in emergency situations by providing advanced airway management and resuscitation support.

• NBRC Certification required, RRT or CRT.
• Licensed to practice in the State of Texas, RCP.
• ACLS and PALS Certifications required within 6 months of employment.
• Working knowledge of cardiac rhythms and parameter.
