What You Will Do:
- Deliver personalized respiratory treatments and medications under supervision to stabilize and improve patient pulmonary function.

Assess real-time patient responses to therapies, ensuring every intervention is effective and adjusted to meet the patient’s immediate needs.

Communicate critical changes in patient condition to the care team, acting as a vital link in the chain of clinical decision-making.

Educate patients and their families on disease management and treatment plans, empowering them to take an active role in their long-term health journey.

Document every step of the patient care journey to ensure a seamless, high-quality medical record that supports continuity of care.
What You Will Need:
Licensure/Certification/Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Student Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:

High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required.
Additional Preferences:
- Enrolled in a CoARC approved Respiratory Care Program.

Student Permit by KSBHA.
