Respiratory Therapy Intern

• Deliver personalized respiratory treatments and medications under supervision to stabilize and improve patient pulmonary function.
• Assess real-time patient responses to therapies, ensuring every intervention is effective and adjusted to meet the patient’s immediate needs.
• Communicate critical changes in patient condition to the care team, acting as a vital link in the chain of clinical decision-making.
• Educate patients and their families on disease management and treatment plans, empowering them to take an active role in their long-term health journey.
• Document every step of the patient care journey to ensure a seamless, high-quality medical record that supports continuity of care.

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Student Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

• High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required.

• Enrolled in a CoARC approved Respiratory Care Program.
• Student Permit by KSBHA.
