Restaurant Accountant only Restaurant experience

We are looking for an experienced accountant who understands restaurant operations and can manage financial tasks with accuracy. The ideal person has at least five years of accounting experience in a reputable restaurant and is comfortable handling daily records, cost control and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily sales, cash flow and expense records
• Prepare financial statements and monthly reports
• Oversee vendor payments, invoices and reconciliations
• Track inventory and food cost
• Assist management with budgeting and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Requirements

• Minimum five years of accounting experience in a well-reputed restaurant
• Strong grip on accounting software and MS Excel
• Good understanding of restaurant cost control
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
