Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure a memorable dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cashing out and balancing registers at shift end.
• Develop and suggest beverage recipes or specials to enhance menu offerings and boost sales.
• Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service flow during busy periods and special events like banquets or catering functions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender in a restaurant or hospitality setting; fine dining experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, and craft beer brewing processes.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service times while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and alcohol service regulations.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management.
