Restaurant Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while providing exceptional service. You will be responsible for mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Your ability to manage time effectively and deliver outstanding customer service will contribute significantly to the overall experience of our patrons.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and answering questions about drink options.
• Handle cash and process transactions accurately using Aloha POS or similar systems.
• Assist with food service as needed, including catering events or special functions.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to customers at the bar.
• Stay updated on drink trends, brewing techniques, and sales strategies to enhance the guest experience.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the food service or nightclub industry is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of bartending experience is required.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests.
• Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
