Restaurant Captain

Gandhinagar, India

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and guide the restaurant service team (servers, stewards, busboys).
  • Welcome guests, take special care of VIPs, and ensure personalized service.
  • Allocate tables and manage reservations to maximize guest satisfaction and table turnover.
  • Assist in taking food & beverage orders and ensure timely service.
  • Train and motivate staff to maintain high service standards.
  • Handle guest complaints with professionalism and ensure quick resolution.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff for smooth service.
  • Ensure restaurant cleanliness, hygiene, and ambience are maintained at all times.
  • Monitor inventory of cutlery, crockery, and service equipment.
  • Assist in upselling food and beverage items to increase revenue.
  • Prepare shift reports and update the restaurant manager on daily operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in food & beverage service, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of food, beverages, and service techniques.
  • Ability to handle pressure and resolve conflicts.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
