Restaurant Hostess

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements to optimize flow and service efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements effectively to minimize wait times.
• Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate with guests regarding their expected wait times.
• Assist in the training of new staff members on guest relations protocols.
• Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, for managing reservations and orders efficiently.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization in the host/host area at all times.

Skills

• Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent guest services.
• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on enhancing guest relations.
• A positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
