Restaurant Host/Hostess

Okonori is a new dining concept rooted in balance, warmth, and wabi-sabi simplicity. We are looking for a Host/Hostess to be the first point of welcome for our guests. The Host/Hostess plays a vital role in shaping the guest experience from the very first interaction. This position sets the tone for the entire evening.

Responsibilities

Warmly greet and seat guests with attentiveness and care

Manage Open Table reservations and waitlists with efficiency and grace

Maintain the flow of service between the dining room and servers

Handle guest concerns with professionalism and urgency

Assist with light support tasks during slower periods

Qualifications

Friendly, professional demeanor and strong communication skills

Strong sense of awareness and ability to read a room

Prior host/hostess or customer service experience preferred, but not required

Must be available evenings and weekends

Professional appearance and presence

Compensation

Hourly base pay + tips
