Restaurant Host/Hostess

Job Summary
We are seeking a polished, welcoming, and service-driven Host / Hostess to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this highly visible role, you will be the first and last impression for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. You will manage reservations, coordinate seating flow, and support front-of-house operations within our upscale Italian steakhouse concept. Your professionalism, organization, and natural hospitality will ensure seamless service execution and a refined atmosphere from arrival to departure. This role plays a critical part in maintaining service rhythm, supporting the team during peak periods, and delivering a memorable guest experience.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication skills, composure under pressure, and a genuine ability to make guests feel valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests promptly with professionalism and warmth
• Manage reservations and walk-in seating
• Coordinate table assignments to maintain balanced service flow
• Provide accurate wait times and clear communication
• Answer phones and assist with guest inquiries
• Maintain organization and presentation of the host stand
• Support servers and management during peak periods

Leadership Opportunity

One Host / Hostess will be selected for a Lead Host position based on performance, professionalism, and leadership ability.

The Lead Host will assist with:

• Coordinating seating flow and shift execution
• Supporting onboarding and training of new hosts
• Communicating directly with management during service
• Maintaining reservation standards and service consistency

Leadership growth and additional responsibility will be determined after an initial evaluation period.
