Responsibilities

• Greet guests with enthusiasm and genuine warmth, creating a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using Opentable
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction.
• Communicate clearly with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service flow.
• Answer guest inquiries politely over the phone and in person, providing accurate information about the restaurant.
• Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally to enhance overall experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest interaction.
• Knowledge of systems such as Toast and Opentable is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while remaining calm under pressure.
• Previous experience in hospitality or hotel guest services is a plus.
