We are seeking a professional and personable Restaurant Host/Hostess to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties

• Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression
• Manage reservations and waitlists accurately using POS systems and OpenTable
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and guest flow
• Provide guests with menus, answer questions about the menu offerings, and assist with special requests
• Maintain effective communication with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
• Handle guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette and guest relations skills
• Monitor waiting times and update guests on their status in a friendly manner
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand area
• Support guest services by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
• Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction

Experience

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
• Strong background in customer service, with excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems and OpenTable.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated professionalism in phone etiquette and guest interactions
