Duties

• Greet guests with a friendly smile and positive attitude upon arrival, making them feel immediately welcomed.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize guest flow.
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information and assisting with reservations or special requests.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth service flow.
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area, ensuring a tidy appearance at all times.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, or special needs with courteous communication and prompt resolution.
• Assist in managing waitlists and communicate wait times effectively to enhance guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette.
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems
• Experience in hospitality or hotel guest services is a plus, demonstrating adaptability across customer-facing roles.
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
