Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Restaurant Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival with a lively and professional demeanor, making them feel valued and appreciated
• Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate seating arrangements
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize seating flow and minimize wait times
• Answer guest inquiries via phone with clear communication and friendly phone etiquette
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times
• Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their dining experience
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, turning any issues into positive interactions

Experience

• Prior host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person and over the phone
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience in hospitality or hotel guest services enhances your ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving protocols, and guest relations best practices is advantageous
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with guests and team members
