Responsibilities

• Greet guests with genuine warmth and enthusiasm as they arrive, providing a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations and walk-in guest flow efficiently using POS systems .
• Escort guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and addressing any special requests or needs.
• Maintain clear communication with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate seating arrangements and wait times.
• Handle guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times or menu options.
• Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to enhance overall satisfaction.
• Keep the host/hostess station organized, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies to ensure seamless operations.

Experience

• Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating welcoming guest interactions.
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, including clear verbal expression and active listening.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
