restaurant line server

Position Summary

The Line Server plays a key role in our guest experience by preparing and fulfilling takeout plates and orders with accuracy, speed, and professionalism. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining our high standards of food presentation, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and plate takeout meals according to our standards and specifications.
  • Accurately fulfill all takeout orders, ensuring each item is correct, properly portioned, and neatly packaged.
  • Verify order tickets and coordinate with kitchen and expo staff to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the takeout line, packaging station, and service area throughout the shift.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen, expo, and FOH teams to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Stock and replenish takeout supplies, condiments, and utensils as needed.
  • Ensure all food items meet temperature, quality, and appearance standards before packing.
  • Handle customer interactions for takeout orders courteously and efficiently when necessary.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures in compliance with health regulations and our standards.
  • Support the team by assisting with prep, cleaning, and other duties as assigned by management.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant, fast-casual, or takeout service environment preferred.
  • Strong multitasking and time-management skills in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to read and accurately follow order tickets and food preparation instructions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and presentation.
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling practices.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a hot and fast-paced kitchen environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
