Job Purpose:
Manage the restaurant Food & Beverage Operation. Responsible for the execution of directives, standards and procedures the service on a daily basis.
Job Responsibilities

Controls and maintains standards and operating procedures in regards to food & beverage.

Ensures total guest satisfaction and leads by example.

To constantly monitor staff performance and give feedback

To communicate daily with other concerned departments to ensure they are aware of all VIP arrivals, special requests and the speedy delivery of service.

Maintain a high degree of intensity and tenacity during the operating hours

To assist in the coordination of organizational and administrative function in all aspect of the Food & Beverage Department.

Communicate new or amended procedures to relevant departments / colleagues in a timely manner

To ensure full coverage of the F&B operation when the business level is high.

Generally responsible for the quality of food & beverage and service of all the restaurants and venues within the hotel.

Assist in conducting briefing with the Outlet Managers

Check daily the quality of food, beverage and service of the F&B outlets
-
To be familiar with all company minimum operating standards and to ensure they are adhered to in relation to policies & procedures

Responsible to ensure that budgeted or forecasted revenues and profits are practiced.

Assist in the development of ideas and the increased department sales of Food & Beverage to improve productivity.

To represent the Food & Beverage Department briefings and to chair meeting and to execute any task dedicated by the Producer

Determine the necessary competence for employees to provide training or other actions to satisfy these needs. Provide constant coaching, counselling and discipline to colleagues to ensure their capability to meet the needs of the customer and the organization.

Ensure manning and competence level of selected colleagues is sufficient for the department to meet the needs of the organization and the customer.

Perform other related duties as directed by Senior Management
Qualifications
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in Hospitality

Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar position
-
Additional relevant qualifications: menu planning and recipes knowledge, excellent food and beverage knowledge, administration abilities, good kitchen organization experience

Holder of Mashgiach Certificate
