Restaurant Manager

Position Summary

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the overall daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experience, efficient team performance, and strong financial results. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage service, staff, and operations while maintaining the brand’s standards and atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Service

  • Oversee all daily restaurant operations.
  • Ensure smooth, professional, and efficient service at all times.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest experience.
  • Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally.
  • Monitor table flow, reservations, and service timing.

Team Management

  • Lead, train, and supervise FOH staff.
  • Prepare staff schedules based on business needs.
  • Conduct daily briefings and performance follow-ups.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff.
  • Maintain discipline, motivation, and team morale.

Financial & Administrative

  • Monitor daily sales, discounts, and voids.
  • Control labor costs and staff productivity.
  • Ensure proper cash handling and closing procedures.
  • Coordinate with finance on reports and documentation.

Coordination & Standards

  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
  • Ensure all SOPs and brand standards are followed.
  • Support marketing campaigns, events, and seasonal promotions.
  • Maintain stock levels for service items and coordinate with purchasing.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in restaurant management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent guest-handling and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good understanding of restaurant financials and operations.
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • Fluent English required; Arabic is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: BD500.000 - BD700.000 per month
