Restaurant Manager

Job Title: Restaurant Operation Manager

Job Summary

The Operation Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient staff performance, and achievement of financial targets. The role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a customer-focused approach to maintain high standards of quality and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards.
  • Manage opening and closing procedures.

2. Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff.
  • Prepare duty rosters and manage staff scheduling.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching.
  • Maintain a positive and productive work environment.

3. Customer Service

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

4. Financial Management

  • Monitor sales, expenses, and profitability.
  • Control food and labor costs.
  • Prepare reports on revenue, expenses, and operational performance.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.

5. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Maintain compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in restaurant management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of POS systems and inventory management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
