Restaurant Manager

Ricky’s Wine Bar & Restaurant is a modern, aperitivo-inspired restaurant and bar in the heart of Williamsburg, offering a full lunch and dinner experience with a curated wine list, classic cocktails, and a warm, lively atmosphere.

We are seeking a Restaurant Manager (Floor Lead) to lead the servers and bartenders and help shape the standard of service as we continue to grow. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands both hospitality and wine, and takes pride in running a polished, thoughtful service.

The Role
You will take ownership of the guest experience and the flow of the room—ensuring service feels seamless, intentional, and well-paced from open to close.

This includes:

  • Leading the servers and bartenders with a strong, composed presence
  • Setting the tone for the team through professionalism, awareness, and attention to detail
  • Ensuring staff are prepared, punctual, and fully engaged during service
  • Managing reservations and guiding the flow of the room with confidence
  • Greeting and seating guests in a way that feels natural and welcoming
  • Being present for guests—anticipating needs, handling issues gracefully, and elevating the overall experience
  • Maintaining clean, accurate menus and a well-presented dining room
  • Overseeing opening and closing to ensure the restaurant is fully prepared each day

Wine & Service Focus
This role is ideal for someone who appreciates the details that define a great restaurant.

  • Comfortable speaking about wine with guests in an approachable, confident way
  • Understands how food, wine, and cocktails work together as a complete experience
  • Values pacing, timing, and the rhythm of service
  • Brings a level of polish and awareness that elevates both the team and the guest experience

Operations

  • Strong working knowledge of Toast POS is required
  • Confident in closing out the day, reviewing sales, and ensuring accuracy
  • Comfortable managing and balancing the cash drawer
  • Familiar with a tipped pool system for servers and bartenders
