Job Title: Restaurant Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations of our restaurant in Nauru.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, including service, staffing, and guest experience
- Ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety compliance
- Manage inventory, stock control, and supplier coordination
- Recruit, train, and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house staff
- Handle budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization
- Address customer feedback and resolve complaints professionally
- Implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and service quality
- Work closely with ownership/management on business goals and reporting
Requirements:
- Proven 5-10 years of experience as a Restaurant or Food Service Manager
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations and customer service standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Ability to work in a remote island environment with limited resources
- Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and cost control
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
- Hospitality or hotel management qualification is an advantage
