As the Restaurant Manager at Rosa's Thai Restaurant, you will be the key leader responsible for overseeing the overall operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth. Your leadership, strategic planning, and organizational skills will play a crucial role in maintaining the restaurant's reputation for authentic Thai cuisine and creating a positive dining experience for our valued customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to the management team and staff, fostering a positive work culture and inspiring excellence in service.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that all guests receive outstanding service, addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly to exceed their expectations.
  • Daily Operations: Oversee the day-to-day restaurant operations, including managing reservations, coordinating seating, and ensuring smooth service flow.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and train new employees, conducting performance evaluations, and managing staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and optimal productivity.
  • Food Safety & Ops Audit Score: Maintain the highest standards of food safety and operational excellence, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance and top-notch performance.
  • P&L, Food Cost, and Wastage: Analyze financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements, to track restaurant performance, manage food cost, and minimize wastage.
  • Speed of Service/Prep Time: Monitor and optimize the speed of service, ensuring efficient order processing and preparation to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Employee Turnover Rate: Address employee turnover and retention challenges by implementing strategies to foster a positive work environment and enhance employee engagement.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels, including food, beverages, and supplies, to avoid stock shortages and minimize wastage.
  • Sales and Marketing: Develop and implement sales strategies, promotional activities, and marketing initiatives to drive customer traffic and increase revenue.
  • Menu Engineering/Upselling: Strategically engineer the menu to optimize profitability and customer appeal, encouraging upselling to increase the average order value.
  • Customer Satisfaction (Dine-in/Delivery): Measure and improve customer satisfaction levels for both dine-in and delivery experiences through proactive measures and service enhancements.
  • Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Restaurant Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the restaurant, including furnishings, decor, and equipment, to create a pleasant ambiance for guests.
  • Adapting to Market Trends: Stay updated with market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities, making data-driven decisions to enhance the restaurant's competitiveness.
  • Taking Correct Decisions & Handling Daily Ops Problems: Demonstrate sound judgment and problem-solving skills in handling day-to-day operational challenges and making informed decisions for the restaurant.
  • Creating Ideas (Thinking Outside the Box): Encourage a culture of innovation and creativity among the team, exploring new ideas and unique approaches to elevate the restaurant's offerings and guest experience.
  • Taking Care of Company Assets: Ensure the proper maintenance and protection of all company assets, including equipment, facilities, and intellectual property.

Qualifications:

  • Previous Restaurant Management Experience: Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role, with a track record of success in managing restaurant operations.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team towards achieving common goals.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: A passion for providing exceptional customer service and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Acumen: Proficient in financial management, budgeting, and cost control to achieve profitability and efficiency.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, customers, and stakeholders effectively.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Familiarity with Thai cuisine and a passion for delivering authentic and flavorful dishes.
  • Time Management: Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing circumstances and customer needs.
  • Food Safety Knowledge: Thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene standards to ensure compliance and maintain a safe dining environment.
  • High School Diploma: A basic educational qualification is required, and relevant certifications or training in restaurant management are advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED7,000.00 per month
