The Veranda Restaurant and Bar is now accepting resumes for the role of server.

We are currently accepting resumes for the following restaurant positions:
Day Shift Server [various]
Evening Shift Server [various]

**Preference to be given to those that are willing to work banquets and events as well as possibly cross training at the hotel's front desk**

The bartender/server will be responsible for providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests in order to achieve an exceptional dining experience at The Veranda. It is important to ensure a positively memorable experience is had by guests through exceptional quality and service.

Responsibilities:
- Must be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests and other employees
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections - understanding
what pairs well with the meal they have ordered
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Adhere to all food safety and beverage handling procedures
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or complaints
promptly
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient bar operations
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in the food service industry preferred
- Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling and making change
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and various drink recipes
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service to customers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team
members
- Ability to handle food safely and follow food safety regulations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.18 - $24.31 per hour
