Restaurant Server

Overview
We are looking for a friendly and energetic Server to join our team at From Across the Pond, an authentic British pub. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, take food and drink orders, and ensure guests have a great dining experience. If you enjoy a lively pub atmosphere and have a passion for hospitality, we’d love to have you on board!

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide an authentic British pub experience.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Make menu recommendations, including traditional British dishes and drink pairings.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any concerns in a professional manner.
• Process payments and operate the POS system efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining and bar areas.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
• Assist in setting up and closing down the pub as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server, preferably in a pub or casual dining setting.
• Knowledge of British cuisine, ales, and spirits is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Basic math skills for handling payments and making change.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Texas.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $2.17 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
