Restaurant Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests while efficiently managing their orders and requests.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS systems.
• Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and pairings to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper food safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism to ensure positive guest relations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Process payments accurately using cash handling procedures, ensuring all transactions are completed efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.
• Culinary experience or kitchen experience is beneficial for understanding menu items and preparation methods.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts.
