Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Explain to guests to sit where they choose and explain to them how to place an order.

· Show guests the menu on the wall, explain the daily specials and then take orders deftly and accurately.

· Uses a proactive approach to solve guest issues as they occur, empowered to make a decision to deliver service that upholds or service standards.

· Monitors coffee station to ensure coffee is hot and replenished at all times, cups, lids, creamer, and stirrers are continually stocked.

· Deliver orders to correct number promptly

· Clear and clean tables guaranteeing compliance to cleanliness standards.

· Reports customer complaints, any equipment problems, shortage of supplies, silverware, dinnerware and condiments, any maintenance issues within the restaurant.

· Assist restocking of supplies and inventories and prepare the folding of silverware in napkins so we are always ready for a rush.

Qualifications

The following Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experiences are necessary for someone to be considered for this position. All qualifications must comply with provincial human rights legislation:

• Education – High School Diploma
• Some experience
• Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
