Restaurant Server/Mandarin required

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring clarity and efficiency
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and proper food handling procedures
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities through effective suggestive selling techniques
• Manage tables efficiently by bussing, resetting, and assisting hosts/hostesses to optimize seating flow during busy hours
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld by adhering to proper sanitation practices and food handling regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders in a high-energy environment such as fine dining or nightclubs

Requirements

• Mandarin required.
• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest rapport and handle guest concerns professionally
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and billing purposes accurately
• Previous experience in serving, bussing, hosting/hostessing, or related roles within the food industry is highly desirable
