Role Overview
The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily restaurant floor operations, supporting the management team, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining food quality, hygiene, and service standards in a casual dining environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Supervision
- Supervise daily restaurant operations and service flow
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
- Monitor staff punctuality, grooming, and discipline
Team Coordination
- Guide, train, and motivate service staff
- Prepare duty rosters and assist with shift management
- Act as shift-in-charge when required
Customer Service
- Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness and ambiance
Inventory & Reporting
- Assist in monitoring inventory, stock usage, and wastage
- Support management with daily reports and operational feedback
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Supervisor / Senior Captain in Casual Dining
- Good knowledge of restaurant service standards and operations
- Strong communication, leadership, and customer-handling skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
