Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, following safety and sanitation standards to ensure quality and freshness.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Toast POS to process orders accurately, handle cash transactions, and manage sales.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing inquiries promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning food prep areas, and ensuring sanitation standards are met throughout the restaurant.
• Assist with food handling duties including stocking supplies, food safety compliance, and proper storage procedures.
• Support quick service operations by managing time effectively during busy periods to serve customers swiftly without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant flow, support food preparation tasks, and uphold a positive dining atmosphere.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or a fast-food environment is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus; training will be provided if needed.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math tasks like measuring ingredients or calculating totals.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is advantageous.
• Experience working in a café or retail grocery setting can be helpful but is not mandatory; what matters most is your positive attitude and eagerness to serve.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: From $12.77 per hour
