Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and swiftly
• Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring proper sanitation throughout the restaurant
• Assist in food handling tasks such as portioning, packaging, and ensuring quality control during food preparation
• Support the team with basic math for sales calculations, retail math for inventory checks, and grocery store-like food management practices

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is a plus but training will be provided
• Experience in culinary roles or kitchen environments enhances your ability to excel in this position
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Customer service background that demonstrates excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques is advantageous
• Ability to work effectively in a retail or café setting with a focus on serving guests promptly and professionally

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
