Roto-Rooter — the #1 name in plumbing, drain and water restoration services — is expanding our Restoration Sales Team and we’re looking for a high-energy closer who thrives in field-based consultative sales. This is not cold calling. You’ll be responding to warm / pre-qualified inbound opportunities with customers who already need urgent restoration support — and you’ll be the expert who guides them, builds trust, and secures the project.

What You’ll Do

  • Respond to assigned residential and commercial water loss leads, perform on-site evaluations, document the scope of loss, and recommend the appropriate restoration services.

  • Walk customers through required next steps with empathy, urgency, and clarity — helping them navigate the stress of water damage.

  • Build value-based proposals, present solution options, and close service agreements.

  • Communicate and coordinate with our mitigation / remediation teams to make sure projects convert smoothly from sales into production execution.

  • Maintain detailed documentation, notes, and activity tracking in CRM.

  • Consistently hit and exceed individual sales targets and performance metrics.

  • Represent Roto-Rooter as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador on every job site.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years outside sales success (restoration, construction, insurance, roofing, home services or similar consultative selling preferred).

  • Strong closing ability and confidence presenting at the kitchen table or C-suite.

  • Excellent relationship building + customer service, especially in emergency / high urgency situations.

  • Ability to understand scope, estimate, explain options clearly, and gain commitment.

  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and the ability to work independently in the field.

  • Coachable, driven, competitive, goal-oriented mindset.
