Retail Account Associate

We are hiring a Retail Account Associate to represent Just Energy inside major retail locations throughout the Chicago area. In this role, you’ll interact directly with shoppers, introduce energy service options, and help customers find solutions that fit their household needs. You don’t need previous experience—we provide structured, hands-on training so you can feel confident speaking with customers, understanding the product, and achieving your goals early on.

We’re looking for motivated individuals who bring a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to transition into a new field, this opportunity offers clear growth paths and the chance to develop valuable professional skills.

What You’ll Do:

  • Engage with customers in a retail environment to create a welcoming and informative experience
  • Educate shoppers on Just Energy services, promotions, and available plans
  • Ask questions to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Track daily interactions and work toward individual and team sales targets
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to strengthen sales and communication skills
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to improve overall performance

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A coachable mindset with a desire to learn and grow
  • Comfortable working in a customer-facing, retail setting
  • Self-motivated with a goal-oriented approach
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Background in retail, customer service, hospitality, or sales is helpful but not required
