Position Overview

Bohemia Manor Farm Winery is seeking a creative and high-energy Sales Associate & Content Coordinator. This role is designed for a digital storyteller who can manage our tasting room floor while simultaneously capturing the "magic" of our 400-acre estate for our digital audience. You will be the primary voice and lens for our social media platforms, tasked with growing our online presence to drive foot traffic, event bookings, and wine sales.

Essential Duties & Content Concentration

Content Creation & Social Media (Primary Focus):

  • Digital Storytelling: Capture high-quality photos and short-form video (Reels/TikToks) of daily life at the winery, including wine production, vineyard views, and guest experiences.
  • Platform Management: Execute a weekly posting schedule across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, ensuring brand consistency and engagement with our followers.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of social media trends in the wine and hospitality industry to keep Bohemia Manor Farm relevant and "viral-ready."
  • Promotion: Create digital assets to promote upcoming events (e.g., Wine Club pickups, Oysters on the River, or Vendor Markets) and new product launches like our Blueberry Hard Cider.
  • Engagement: Respond to comments and DMs to provide excellent "digital hospitality" and convert followers into visitors.

Tasting Room & Sales Operations:

  • Guest Experience: Warmly greet guests, conduct guided tastings, and lead historical tours of the estate (Manor House, Native Statue, and Production Facility).
  • Sales Execution: Actively sell bottles-to-go and promote Wine Club memberships to on-site guests.
  • SOP Adherence: Follow all opening and closing procedures, including POS setup, inventory logging, and maintaining a clean, "Instagrammable" tasting room environment.
  • Events: Assist with off-site events and festivals, acting as the primary person to document these events for social media while also serving customers.

Requirements & Skills

  • Creative Portfolio: Experience managing social media accounts (personal or professional) with a strong eye for aesthetics and video editing (Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Express).
  • Hospitality Mindset: Comfortable speaking in front of groups for tours and providing "quality face-to-face" interaction.
  • Self-Starter: Ability to identify "content moments" without being told—catching the sunset over the Bohemia River or a behind-the-scenes look at the bottling line.
  • Physical: Ability to walk the 400-acre estate to capture content, maneuver stairs, and lift/carry 30 lbs.
  • Schedule: Weekend availability is required, as this is when the most "content-worthy" events and guest interactions occur.
