Job Summary
We are looking for a results-driven Retail Area Sales Manager to lead retail expansion and business development initiatives. This role is perfect for someone with experience in automobile, D2C, or retail industries who can strategize, build partnerships, and deliver measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development plans to expand the retail network (exclusive stores, franchise outlets, experience centers).
- Identify high-potential locations for new stores and build partnerships with landlords, mall operators, and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Analyze market trends and customer preferences to refine strategies and improve engagement.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on in-store campaigns and promotional activities.
- Monitor retail outlet performance and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present reports on sales performance, revenue growth, and market insights.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (logistics, product, marketing) to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in retail business development (automobile/D2C/FMCG preferred).
- Strong understanding of retail operations, market dynamics, and customer behavior.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and data analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
